Join our walk around Longyearbyen with good company!
Our guide will pick you up from your accommodation, and head off to our dog yard in Adventdalen.
During a leisurely walk, you will have time to learn a little more about the history and nature of Svalbard, listen to interesting city stories of the past and present, sometimes sounding almost like fairy tales... And, of course, get to know tireless and friendly sled dogs - after all, the end of our route will be in their home, kennel!
Here you can see the life of sled dogs, get acquainted with the life of mushers and learn about the historical and practical part, hidden behind the image of persistent four-legged participants of great expeditions.
After playing and cuddling with the dogs your guide will take you back to town. We are not so far away, but any route is always more pleasant together, isn't it?
Between the months of May and July, the dogyard is surrounded by the 3rd biggest Eider Duck colony in the Icefjords.
