Wanna explore the town environs? Jump in a troll cart and mush with fluffy athletes across the Arctic land!
You will immerse into a mushing process from the very start. The guide will introduce you to the dogs and explain how to get them ready and build a team for your tour.
You will choose the team players together with the guide and then put them in the line in front of your cart. As soon as the last dog is in place, you'll see how happy and enthusiastic the doggies are, so it's definitely time to go!
The way goes across Adventdalen with picturesque mountains around. And that's how it is: exploring the Arctic with sled dogs evolves you into a proper atmosphere when you can get united with nature and have time to fully admire it. Along the way, there will be short breaks for taking photos and giving dogs time to cool down and drink.
In the months between May and August, there is a big Eider duck colony nesting around our kennel. It is always fun to watch their behavior and listen to their never-ending chattering.

The tour includes:• Pick-up transport from/to the place of accommodation in Longyearbyen
• Dog sledding tour in Adventdalen - In addition:• Overalls can be borrowed from us if needed. (Pleace note: we do not have kids size!)
• 2 or 3 guests are driving together on each wagon and you can each drive half the way or switch places along the way just as you like
• If you do not want to drive the team yourself, you can ride with a musher. Please kindly inform us about it in advance. - Cancellation policy:
- If cancelled 22 days or more prior to departure 100 % refund
- If cancelled 22-7 days prior to departure 50 % refund
- Cancellation less than 7 days prior to departure is a "no show" and does not qualify for any refund. You may apply to your insurance company for a refund if you provide a medical certificate.
- If Svalbard Villmarkssenter decides to cancel a trip due to weather conditions or any other reasons, you will receive a full refund!
